Introduced in 1985, the Patek Philippe Ref. 3940 is one of Patek’s most iconic perpetual calendars produced. Famously worn and adored by Philippe Stern, the watch is a staple in any collection. Worn just as easily with a suit as with jeans and a tee - the 3940 is a chameleon on the wrist.

This watch is a white gold example from 2004 making it a 4th series watch. Unlike the earlier 2nd, and 3rd series watches, the 4th series comes back to the original 1st series stepped subdials, giving the watch a similar two-tone effet under certain light.

This watch comes with an Extract from the Archives of Patek Philippe.
